The path less followed
What I tried to capture in this photograph was a sense of quiet solitude and connection with nature. The winding path, lined with soft greenery and shadowed by towering trees, feels both serene and reflective—like a pause from the rush of life. The lone figure walking ahead brings a human element, symbolizing those moments when we find ourselves on a path, physically and metaphorically, moving forward with quiet determination.
Portraiture
During the shoot, I sought to create an atmosphere of intimacy, encouraging the subject to relax into their natural thoughts and emotions. I deliberately used minimal lighting, relying on the warmth of a single source to create depth and texture. For me, this image represents the beauty of unspoken stories—the emotions we carry but rarely articulate. It’s a quiet exploration of vulnerability and strength, told through light, shadow, and expression.

Our group of eight created a short documentary-style promotional video for a small business, aiming to authentically showcase its values, services, and unique story while resonating with the target audience.
My Role
I was in charge of a part of the camera work, ensuring each shot was visually engaging and aligned with the overall creative vision and I also managed the lighting for several scenes.
Reflection
This project offered hands-on learning that enhanced both technical and teamwork skills. Collaborating with a real client emphasized the value of clear communication, adaptability, and meeting professional expectations.
